Environmental Maintenance

Our Environmental Maintenance program emphasizes the importance of sustainable stormwater management and healthy vegetation to protect our community’s natural resources and infrastructure. Through ongoing care and strategic upkeep, we aim to reduce flooding, improve water quality, and promote urban greenery.

Stormwater Management
  • Regular inspection and maintenance of stormwater systems, including drains, culverts, and retention basins.
  • Clearing debris, sediment, and blockages to ensure proper water flow and prevent flooding.
  • Implementing erosion control measures and maintaining green infrastructure like rain gardens and bioswales.
  • Monitoring water runoff to reduce pollution and improve water quality.
Vegetation Care
  • Pruning, trimming, and removing overgrown or hazardous vegetation around streets, parks, and stormwater facilities.
  • Planting native trees, shrubs, and grasses to stabilize soil, enhance stormwater absorption, and support biodiversity.
  • Maintaining vegetated areas to prevent erosion and improve air quality.
  • Promoting sustainable landscaping practices that require less water and chemical use.
Our commitment is to sustain a resilient environment by integrating effective stormwater management with vibrant, healthy vegetation. This approach not only protects our infrastructure but also enhances the beauty and ecological health of our community.
